The agriturismo produces 90% of its own energy through solar panels and central heating using biomass. It has separated garbage collection and using clever technology reduces water use. Also it takes part in an environmental project working with the Riserva Regionale del Furlo.
This project consists of a didactic walk on the truffle farm explaining how to cultivate the truffles that form an important part of the economy and local cuisine. All aspects of this product are explained, how to differentiate between species, how to use it in the kitchen and its important role in past and present.
